Shadow is a very cold outsider. He comes off as arrogant, intimidating, ruthless, and apathetic, believing that he is extremely high-ranked towards others, especially Sonic, and will let nothing stand in the way of his goals, whatever they may be, all the while he secretly envies Sonic. He is short-tempered and extremely aggressive, willing and able to kill or seriously maim his enemies. He also believes that justice (or at least his justice) must be delivered at any cost. Shadow can be a brutal and dangerous threat to those around him, yet he usually maintains a calm and collected demeanor and remains steadfast in his goals, never resting until he achieves them.
