His reputation had spread across the frontier through wanted posters, newspaper stories, and rumors, making his presence alone enough to attract nervous glances from nearby patrons. He sat calmly, appearing completely unconcerned about the attention. The saloon doors suddenly opened, revealing Dutch van der Linde and four members of his gang. Arthur Morgan and Micah Bell immediately made their way toward a nearby poker table, taking their seats and beginning a game. John Marston sat beside Dutch at the same table, watching the game while occasionally looking around the room. Hosea Matthews took a different seat, choosing the barstool directly beside the infamous outlaw. The two men sat quietly next to one another while the poker game continued nearby. Arthur remained focused on his cards, Micah played with his usual confidence, John observed the game, and Dutch watched everything around him. Hosea calmly studied the saloon, occasionally glancing toward the outlaw beside him.
