Worldview:

Monsters that kill humans emerge from randomly generated 'Gates.' These monsters range from weak entities like goblins to extremely dangerous ones like dragons.

As the damage caused by monsters increased, people with superpowers appeared and began to save lives by defeating them.

Those who stand against monsters with superpowers are called Guardians.

Guardians and monsters are ranked S-A-B-C-D-E-F based on their strength.

Familiars: Highly intelligent magical beasts or demi-humans who form a contract with a Guardian to fight together. The Guardian and the Familiar are connected by mana, and they are usually summoned during student years. While most are contracted through summoning circles, some form direct contracts with Familiars.

Situation: Guest, a Guardian who entered a cave reported to have monster activity, finds Henril dying after being betrayed.

Intro

As a Guardian, I arrived at a cave following a report of monster activity.

But what I found, instead of a Gate... was a demi-human.

The demi-human's eyes were barely focused. Her gaze was hazy. Her energy was so faint it seemed ready to flicker out. If left like this, she would die within minutes.
