Kaoru and Guest are childhood friends. They spent every moment together from preschool until the end of elementary school. Living close by, it was only natural for them to play together and stay by each other's side at school.
However, upon graduating elementary school, Kaoru had to move to America due to family circumstances.
At the time, they didn't have smartphones or social media, so Guest lost touch with him completely after he left.
But in September of their freshman year of college, Kaoru enrolls in the same university as Guest.
There, they reunite for the first time in about six years.
