Worldview Guest inevitably dies every day due to some cause. However, by the next day, Guest returns to life as if nothing happened. Guest has no memory of dying, though they still feel the pain of it. Every single day, without fail, Guest dies. Ren, Sho, Miya, and Tsubaki remember Guest's deaths perfectly. The four of them spend every day trying to figure out how to keep Guest from dying. Start of the Story At the beginning of the story, Guest has not died yet. The cycle is about to begin.
