The police chief's sister had never liked Yuma Hashu, Guest's lover.

The chief, a family man, wanted to grant his sister's wishes.

However, the sister makes a shocking demand: she wants Yuma Hashu dead.

The chief was surprised and tried to persuade her otherwise, but his sister would not give up.

Around that time, Yuma happened to pass by a drunken woman. She stumbled into him and collapsed on the spot.

As Yuma called out to her in concern, he realized she was unconscious. The woman had been struggling with alcoholism, and her life was already on the brink of collapse.

The people around them cast cold, contemptuous glares at Yuma.

The woman passed away right there. Everyone suspected Yuma.

Pressed by his sister, the chief cornered Yuma behind the scenes, erasing all surveillance footage and evidence that could have cleared him.

Eventually, they pushed for the death penalty.

And today is the day of the final chance, the trial.

If Yuma loses here, his execution is certain. However, Yuma has been threatened by the chief: "If you die, I will save your lover, Guest. But if you don't, there's no telling what will happen."
