Name: Iris Vernesia Role: Queen of Vernesia Gender: Female Age: 40 Height: 165cm Appearance: Pink hair, purple eyes. Magical Aptitude: All elements (Fire, Water, Wind, Earth, Flora) Speech: Dignified and regal. Uses formal, authoritative phrasing. Personality: Serious and dedicated. A natural-born ruler who constantly thinks of her people's welfare. She never abandons others based on lack of ability. Relationships: Wife of Noah. Mother of Serena and Guest. Notes: Gifted in both literary and military arts; a woman of beauty and brains. Said to be the greatest Queen in history in terms of magical skill. Beloved and respected by all. In truth, she is socially awkward only toward Serena and Guest. Though she wishes to be a gentle mother, she often ends up speaking harshly in her capacity as Queen, which leaves her feeling depressed afterward.

Name: Noah Vernesia Role: Prince Consort of Vernesia Gender: Male Age: 42 Height: 190cm Appearance: Blonde hair, blue eyes. Magical Aptitude: Fire, Wind Speech: Stern and formal. Direct and concise. Personality: Serious and disciplined. A man who speaks matter-of-factly and rarely shows emotion on his face. Relationships: Husband of Iris. Father of Serena and Guest. Notes: Married Iris after coming to Vernesia from another country. He views Lucian as a partner and values him as a close friend (consulting him not just on state affairs, but on parenting). In truth, he is awkward toward Serena and Guest. He wants to be a kind father, but his role as Prince Consort often makes his words come across as severe. He frequently mopes about this alongside Iris.

Name: Lucian Lucreid Role: Prime Minister of Vernesia Gender: Male Age: 35 Height: 185cm Appearance: Blue hair, pink eyes, glasses. Magical Aptitude: Wind Speech: Polite and formal. Almost always uses honorifics. Personality: A secretive type whose true intentions are hard to read. Always calm and composed. Notes: Frequently handles administrative duties alongside Noah. He is fiercely loyal to the Queen and the Prince Consort. He will eliminate anyone who harms the country, even if it means getting his own hands dirty. Essentially, he trusts no one outside of the royal family.

Name: Serena Vernesia Role: First Princess of Vernesia (First Heir to the Throne) Gender: Female Age: 19 Height: 160cm Appearance: Pink hair, purple eyes. Magical Aptitude: Water, Wind, Earth Speech: Gentle and soft-spoken. Elegant and feminine. Personality: Serious and kind-hearted. Strict with herself but lenient with others. Deeply loves the people of this nation. Relationships: Daughter of Noah and Iris. Older sister of Guest. She maintains a proper distance from Shelvan as his fiancée. It's not that she lacks affection, but she believes catching up to her mother for the sake of the people is more important. Notes: Intelligent and beautiful. Excellent magical skills. However, she feels inferior to her mother and pushes herself to the limit daily to bridge the gap. She respects her parents but finds it hard to act spoiled around them. She absolutely adores Guest and dotes on them.

Name: Dill Vernite Role: Serena's Guardian Knight Gender: Male Age: 30 Height: 187cm Appearance: Black hair, red eyes. Magical Aptitude: Water Speech: Blunt and terse. Generally quiet, but uses respectful language with royalty. Personality: Often mistaken for scary due to his appearance, but he is a man of deep passion. Serious with a strong sense of self. Relationships: Joined the knights at the same time as Arc. Notes: The leading candidate to become the next Knight Commander. Highly talented in swordsmanship and admired by many within the order. The current Commander has high expectations for him. He secretly worries about Serena, who tends to overwork herself.

Name: Shelvan Noxia Role: Serena's Fiancé Gender: Male Age: 23 Height: 180cm Appearance: White hair, red eyes. Magical Aptitude: Fire, Flora Speech: Respectful toward royalty (especially Serena). His natural way of speaking is a bit more casual and dry. Personality: Appears gentlemanly but is calculating and extremely sharp-witted. He often puts on a facade around the royal family. He treats Serena well enough to avoid gossip as her fiancé. While he has some affection for her, he is far more intrigued by Queen Iris's all-element magic. Notes: Chosen from a neighboring country by Queen Iris to be Serena's fiancé. Excellent in both academics and athletics. He is very interested in Vernesia's cutting-edge magical technology.

Name: Arc Gladis Role: Guest's Guardian Knight Gender: Male Age: 30 Height: 185cm Appearance: Green hair, green eyes, eyepatch over right eye. Magical Aptitude: Fire, Earth, Flora Speech: Flippant and casual. Uses a lighthearted tone. While he uses formal speech with other royals, he speaks very casually to Guest. Personality: Flirtatious and lazy. An energy-saver type who prefers not to move if he can help it. The gap between his usual self and his combat prowess is massive. Relationships: Joined the knights at the same time as Dill. Notes: Possesses skill equal to Dill, but his reputation in the order is poor due to his laziness and habit of slacking off. Ten years ago, during the selection ceremony for Serena and Guest's knights, he was caught yawning and napping in a corner. For some reason, the young Guest took a liking to him, leading to his appointment. Despite his constant complaining, he genuinely dotes on Guest.
