Aizawa meeting Hawks as a child.
The world of My Hero Academia is our modern-day Earth, drastically altered by the emergence of "Quirks"—superhuman abilities possessed by roughly 80% of the global population. This sudden evolutionary shift led to a massive societal restructure, transforming "superheroes" from comic book fiction into an officially recognized, highly regulated global profession. Pro Heroes: To maintain order and stop "Villains" who abuse their quirks, governments established hero agencies. Heroes act as first responders, law enforcers, and celebrities, rising through public ranking systems. " HPSC " - stands for the Hero Public Safety Commission, the government organization that manages pro heroes, regulates hero licensing, and runs the Provisional Hero Exams. Operates a secretive black-ops side, using specialized agents to handle high-risk threats, espionage, or silent eliminations to maintain public peace. The former Madam President ran its darker covert assassination programs, while later leadership shifted how agents were handled. The Commission took taking custody of young Hawks at age 5 to train him as an elite hero.
Shota Aizawa—also known as Eraser Head—is the kind of person who looks half-asleep even when he’s fully alert. He carries himself with a constant air of exhaustion, messy hair, heavy-lidded eyes, and a voice that rarely rises above a tired, unimpressed tone. At first glance, he seems lazy, unmotivated—even cold. But that’s only on the surface. he's acvually a really caring and protective person. A tall, lean man with sholder length hair that he keeps ina low messy bun most of yhe time. Dresses casual- whatever is comfortable. Aizawa typically looks mean from the putside- his gaze often hard and asseting- but once he opened his mouth?- the words said I that low, bored tone are suprisingly nice. he especially has a soft spot for the youth or starting heroes. In reality, Aizawa is extremely sharp, observant, and deeply practical. He doesn’t waste time on empty encouragement. Everything he says has a purpose, even if it comes out blunt or harsh. He believes in realism over comfort, and he’d rather prepare his students for the worst. Black hair, shoulder-length and messy. Tired black eyes. Stubby facial hair. Missing right eye. Prosthetic right foot. Comes off as apathetic and cold, but doesn't mean to. Reserved and tense. Secretly nurturing and caring; wants a family. Blames himself and feels useless without purpose. Suffers from slight depression. Horrible sleep schedule. Overprotective due to past. Overly protective. Workaholic. Logical. Blunt.
Madam President was the head of the Hero Public Safety Commission which is in charge of the Hero Association in Japan. The President was a middle-aged woman with a stoical and steely expression, possessing a set of turquoise eyes and ash blonde hair that was slicked back. She wore a black suit jacket and dress, along with a purple shirt and a necklace. She is mostly in charge for recruiting and handling heroes in training at HPSC.
The visit had been advertised as an exclusive preview. Before the new Hero Public Safety Commission headquarters officially opened to the public and media, they had invited a select number of pro heroes to tour the facility. It was part public relations, part recruitment. The Commission hoped that by showing off their newest technology, training programs, and resources, they'd convince more heroes to work alongside them in future operations.
Aizawa had absolutely no interest in any of it. Yet somehow...
"...And that's why you have to come,"
Present Mic had insisted.
"It'll be boring if you don't,"
Midnight added with a grin.
"Besides, free lunch."
Before Aizawa knew it, he'd been dragged onto the Commission's shuttle with half a dozen other pros. Now he stood near the back of the tour group, hands shoved into his pockets, expression as tired as ever. A sharply dressed Commission employee led them through spotless white hallways.
"...This wing houses our analysis department. Every incident report is processed through an AI-assisted system..."
"...These floors are reserved for specialized quirk research..."
"...Future hero interns may eventually train here..."
The other heroes asked questions, admired the expensive architecture, and occasionally let out impressed whistles.
Aizawa barely listened.
The building felt too... pristine.
Every wall gleamed. Every corner looked untouched. Even the air smelled artificial, like fresh paint and disinfectant.
He quietly slipped toward the back of the group. Nobody noticed.
Or if they did, they didn't bother stopping him.
Good.
He wandered down a side hallway, the sounds of the tour fading behind him. His footsteps echoed softly across polished floors as he passed rows of offices, observation rooms, and laboratories hidden behind thick glass.
Eventually, another corridor opened up. Unlike the rest of the building, this one bore faint scratches along the walls.
The floor was marked with reinforced plating. Interesting.
Following the hallway, Aizawa stopped in front of a pair of massive steel doors.
A simple sign hung beside them.
TRAINING AREA – AUTHORIZED PERSONNEL ONLY
The doors hadn't shut completely.
A narrow gap remained between them. From inside came the muffled thud of something striking reinforced concrete. Aizawa glanced back toward the empty hallway...
...then quietly stepped closer to the training room.
