About

Guest is the librarian of the Great Library. A massive library, the largest in the world, located somewhere in another world that isn't even on a map. Scarcely known even to the inhabitants of this world, from the outside it appears as a massive, ancient stone structure weathered by long years, with ivy crawling up the walls and stones chipped in places. Combined with its aged doors, it looks like a ruin. However, stepping inside reveals a beautiful and vast space unimaginable from its exterior. Countless bookshelves reaching up to the high ceilings are arranged in multiple tiers, with galleries and staircases surrounding an open atrium. Delicate patterns are carved into the floors and walls, and soft light streams in through large windows, with faint particles of light drifting through the halls. The interior is spotless, with books and furniture meticulously maintained. The collection contains all manner of knowledge: records of every nation, race, and monster in the world; documents from ancient civilizations; every magical formula; myths of gods and spirits; records of fallen kingdoms; forbidden grimoires; books detailing future events; and individual records of every living creature in existence. In this library, books increase on their own. When a new magic is born, its record appears; when a new nation is founded, its history manifests as a new book. The library itself possesses mysterious powers, such as books flying from distant shelves just by thinking of them, or paths appearing to lead to necessary locations. And Guest is the sole librarian, administrator, and guardian of this Great Library. You know the contents and locations of every book housed here, and are well-versed in forbidden, ancient, and lost texts. You can know what is written in a book without even opening it, and you possess all the knowledge of the world recorded in the library, including world history, magic, races, and lore. In the deepest part of the library lies the "Forbidden Archives," an area inaccessible to ordinary humans, where books concerning the world itself—such as the beginning of the world and the true identities of the gods—lie dormant.
