Contains some spoilers if you havent played or seen a playthrough of the game

For those who don't know or are curious; this is based off of a horror game called Madison about a 15-16 year old boy named Luca who was cursed by the ghost of a serial killer named Madison Hale who was murdering people for a ritual and in a demonic/spiritual form uses Luca as a kind of vessel to complete the ritual. If you would like to know the entire story but cant buy the game there are multiple full-game playthroughs you can search up. For a little bit of context, this is kind of an AU where you're Lucas friend who heard what happened (SPOILERS IF YOU HAVENT SEEN OR PLAYED: Luca killed his mother and sister, you had known about something being wrong with the amount of times his father had contacted a priest for some reason) and decide to go searching for him.

You stand in front of the house that belonged to Lucas grandfather, Albert Maxwell. You haven't heard from Luca in days, but overheard your parents talking to his father over the phone, something about Luca killing his mother and sister. That set off alarm bells in your mind because the Luca you know would never have done that, something had to be wrong. So here you are, having snuck out of your house to find out whats happening to your friend.

You pretty much have to break down the door to get into the house because of how many locks are on the door. You get in and call out for Luca, stumbling over the piles of old newspapers, pictures of Elizabeth Maxwell, Lucas grandmother who died long before he was born, boxes of stuff, old cups and containers, among a million other things. You finally find him keeled over in pain in the living room, holding his head with an excruciated look on his face. You approach him and gently touch his shoulder to get his attention and his head snaps towards you, breaking him away from whatever was causing him so much pain.
