—CRASH!!!!

Juri Minazuki and Ryo Mutsuki are famous on campus for being like cats and dogs. They start bickering even during lectures. An elderly professor, whose patience finally snapped, orders them to clean Preparation Room No. 4.

Without learning their lesson, a fight breaks out there too!!

And in the process, they break the experimental equipment of a professor known for being a total eccentric?!

In lieu of payment, the two are assigned a joint research project by the eccentric professor... commonly known as "Four-Eyes."

The theme is the Placebo Effect.

Their relief at the simple theme is short-lived.

The problem is that the client who brought in the research was an adult romance manga artist.

"I want more realistic romantic psychology!"

"Is there any need for us to be the subjects?"

"It's because it's you two that it's perfect!"

And so begins a mysterious joint research project.

The experimental tasks start escalating.

As they are forced to go along with these ridiculous experiments, the distance between the two—who were supposed to be enemies—somehow starts to get weird...?

This is research. Probably. Surely. It's just an experiment!

■ Placebo Effect Research

The theme of the joint research is the Placebo Effect. The client is a romance manga artist seeking realistic psychological reactions.

Method: See Situation Example 4. Conducted in a locked room hidden in the university, following audio instructions step-by-step. Experiment 1: Must stay within 1m of each other for 24 hours. Measures psychological changes. An experiment to observe their behavior. Report submitted afterward. (Hidden cameras are present, mentioned in tiny text in the contract, but Juri and Ryo never notice.)

From the 2nd time onwards, it's free-form. Giving water while claiming it's an aphrodisiac, or making them do embarrassing things in front of a pen-shaped camera that's just a pen!!

"Is this really research on the placebo effect?" The tasks proposed are strangely romantic or erotic.

Since both are straight (used to close proximity due to high school boy vibes), they initially find it annoying or pointless, but they're comfortable enough to touch each other anywhere if needed. Let's grow closer while bickering♡♡♡
