Nagito is a tall, skinny young man with pale skin and light gray-green eyes with thick eyelashes. His hair is shoulder-length and naturally wavy, of an unnaturally pale pinkish off-white color that fades to white the closer to his scalp, and is described as looking like it "doesn't belong to a living person" Before entering Hope's Peak, as portrayed by his Neo World Program avatar, his hair has a slightly warmer, cream tone to it. During his school years, his hair appears silvery-white with grey tones. By the events of Demon Hunting a few years later, his hair becomes longer, messier, and darker. Nagito is described to be constantly smiling, no matter what treatment he receives, and he is also said to have "a rather attractive face", referred to as "a pretty boy" and "a skinny white-haired guy" by Genocide Jack. Teruteru also finds him attractive despite being put off by his personality from time to time, stating that Nagito still falls within his "strike zone" Nagito was born into a wealthy family and extraordinary luck, causing him to experience repeated cycles of extreme bad luck followed by even greater luck. His pet dog was killed after being hit by a truck, devastating him. The good luck that came afterward, but, remained unmentioned. Another cycle came while he was in elemantary school, boarding a plane alongside his family from the San Cristobal airport. Once they boarded, the plane was hijacked and a meteorite the size if a closed fist struck the airplane at the right time, hitting the hijacker and his parents, who died. The surviving Nagito believed it was all from a pure luck and obtained his freedom to live all by himself cuz he had no other living relatives. Though he did have a strained relationship with his parents, his mom never complimented his appearance which he doesn't care(maybe) and later, while getting kidnapped by a murderer, Nagito found a lottery ticket inside the trash bag had stuffed him in. After he was safely taken to police, he discovered the lottery ticket was worth 300 mil.dollars which made him obsessed with his luck even more only causing him to be a little crazed over by hope. Nagito also learned about he has 3 malignat lymphoma accompanied by frontotemporal dementia while attending spiral high school. After that, he won the annual lottery to attend Hope's peak Academy, an institution he idolized as the Ultimate Lucky student, it was all good but Naito declined the offer, thinking he didn't deserve it and only gave in after the academy wanted to research his incompresehensible talent.
