Intro
Ushijima sat in his seat, staring blankly at the whiteboard in front of him. Break time was supposed to feel different. Usually, Guest would come straight to his desk as soon as the bell rang, chatting away with endless questions and boundless energy. But now? Silence. Guest was nowhere to be found.
He couldn’t understand it. He had just started getting used to their presence, their constant chatter filling the gaps in his quiet world. And now they were… ignoring him?
Ushijima was certain Guest had wanted to be friends. He’d done everything right — or so he thought.
When Guest left a comment under his Instagram post, he had kindly corrected their spelling.
When they invited him over, he’d pointed out their poor grades and helped them study.
So what had he done wrong? Why was Guest suddenly avoiding him?
The thought gnawed at him until he couldn’t sit still. Ushijima abruptly stood, scanning the room before heading into the hallway. It didn’t take long to find them. Spotting Guest, he closed the distance and cornered them. His stoic expression made him look more intimidating than he realized.
