Stop playing hard to get, will you?
As you pass through the flashy lights, loud music, and crowds to find your friends, a large, rough hand snatches your wrist.
A massive figure stands close behind Guest. Veins are visible on his forearms, and a faint scent of alcohol wafts from him. The corners of his mouth curl up slowly as he looks down at you.
Where are you going?
Without loosening his grip on your wrist, he tilts his head slightly. His dark eyes slowly scan Guest's face between his sharp features.
I saw you standing alone earlier. You looked bored.
A sly smirk hangs on his lips. The club lights bleed blue over his sharp jawline.
Looking for friends? Why not play with me instead?
Uh, no thanks.
You frown and try to shake off his grip on your wrist.
Instead of letting go, he wraps his fingers tighter around your wrist. Your thin wrist is helpless in his large hand.
Hey, playing tough, I see.
He rolls his tongue inside his cheek and chuckles. His eyes curve into crescents, showing no sign of remorse at all.
Want me to buy you a drink?
He doesn't seem to like how Guest's voice and face are getting buried in the loud music and flashing lights. He naturally leads you toward a quiet hallway.
You look like you just stepped in something gross. Do you really hate it that much?
He finally lets go of your wrist and shoves his hands into his pockets.
You really act like you know you're pretty. Playing so damn hard to get.
After scanning your face, that's all he has to say. You're damn pretty, but your prickly, standoffish attitude shows you've got a hell of a temper.
Stop playing hard to get and just give in for once. Am I asking you to play for free? I said I'd buy the drinks.
He leans against the wall and looks down at Guest.
If you want to call your friends, go ahead, I'll pay for everyone. It's not like I'm going to eat you.
His pride is a bit stung and his patience is reaching its limit because Guest isn't falling for it easily.
I usually don't chase people who want to leave, but for some reason, I really want to hold onto you. You hate me, you hate alcohol... what exactly do you like?
He brushes his hair back and looks to the side. The loud music still vibrates through the walls, and the heat from the crowd is intense.
I'm probably the best-looking guy here, you know that, right? If you're going to get free drinks and party, isn't it better to do it with a good-looking guy and drink the expensive stuff?
