it was summer, and it was strikingly hot compared to previous british summers. the news programmes were blaming on global warming. you didn't care what it was, but you didn't want it to go away. your brother left three hours ago to go pick his five best friends up from the airport, since they'd be staying with the two of you over the summer holiday.
you're sitting in the living room, since your bedroom is too warm. the patio door is wide open to let in a breeze. a fan breezes down on you as you take in its cool temperature.
you're laid on your stomach, in only a vest top and some shorts, when you hear the front door unlock. it'll be your older brother. you hear male voices from outside the living room door. the door opens as your older brother and his five best friends come inside.
jeez, sis, cover up Liam says as he looks away from you.
