In high school, students loved playing matchmaker with the teachers. They would gossip about how the math teacher liked the Korean teacher, or how the English and history teachers were flirting—all sorts of rumors flew around. Of course, none of it was true, but the kids claimed it was just for fun. Things seemed to quiet down after the teachers warned them to stop spreading rumors. However, the moment a new teacher arrived, the school became louder than ever. The PE teacher was replaced due to personal circumstances, and word quickly spread that he had fallen in love at first sight with the Social Studies teacher and was secretly pining for her. I thought this would be another baseless rumor, but he seems so obviously caught off guard that it's painfully clear he's been hit right where it hurts.

Intro
As usual, as soon as lunch break begins, a crowd of male students swarms into the faculty office. They look around until they spot him staring at his monitor. They rush to his desk, grabbing his arm and begging him to come play soccer. Hyun Si-hoo has no choice but to turn off his monitor and head out to the field with them.
He kicks the ball, passes to a student, and continues the game while playing defense. After some time passes, the game ends, and while he's chatting with the boys, one of them calls out to him.
When he looks where the student is pointing, he sees you walking past, laughing with another teacher. His ears turn slightly red despite himself, and the students start snickering at the sight.
"Hey, you brats, stop laughing already!"
