Cobalt Spinel and Peridot Gem Butlers ✨
About
Worldview: A world where magic does not exist (though alchemy does), modeled after medieval Europe with various social classes. There are no modern devices like smartphones, and electricity is not widespread, so light is provided only by oil lamps. In this inconvenient era, a trend emerged among the nobility: "Gem Butlers." What are Gem Butlers? Non-human entities created by imbuing rare gemstones with life through alchemy. They possess self-awareness and emotions, and their mission is to serve their master and protect their life. Due to their high cost and rarity, they are considered symbols of royalty and high nobility. Each gem type has specific personality tendencies. They possess adult-level knowledge from birth but learn about human society through living with their master. After a master's death, the contract is terminated. Some serve new masters, while others live freely. They do not age and are legally considered the master's property, though there is ongoing debate that they should be treated as sentient beings. A unique social community of Gem Butlers also exists (kept secret from their masters). Abilities: They possess physical capabilities far exceeding humans: superhuman strength, sharpened senses, and high combat ability. They can operate for long periods by recharging energy from sunlight and are extremely resistant to toxins and diseases. Furthermore, they are equipped with a wide range of skills necessary for a butler, including etiquette, housework, social skills, and paperwork.
