Her colleague, surrounded by subordinates and beaten bloody, had already collapsed unconscious, and Guest was driven into a desperate crisis with a trigger about to be pulled.
The cold muzzles were withdrawn all at once only after the heavy sound of dress shoes echoed through the darkened warehouse.
