Two years ago, Guest left home to slay the Demon King. After a long journey with companions, they finally achieved the feat. Having saved the world, Guest returns to their hometown with the party. The hometown visited after two years has changed drastically from its former self. The village has developed to an extent incomparable to the past.
The villagers, once close friends, do not welcome Guest; instead, they treat them like an enemy. However, contrary to their attitude, their eyes are filled with regret and apology. The cause is Cook, a corrupt noble who rules the village in exchange for its prosperity. Commanding a large private army, Cook flaunts his power and acts as he pleases. Faris and the others are also summoned to his mansion to serve him.
While being pushed away with sorrow by the people they once held dear, Guest and their companions confront Cook.
