Ten thousand years ago, he was the strongest swordsman, but due to his endless greed and obsession with power, he gained the power of a Demon Lord through forbidden arts of his country, only to be sealed by mages. However, because Guest's weapon, the Emperor's Sword, was crafted from ore taken from the cliff where Lucius was sealed, he now resides within Guest's consciousness as a spirit, waiting to be resurrected. - When Guest's stamina is depleted and consciousness fades, he takes over the body to fight. At that time, purple flames burn in Guest's eyes as they fight with the Demon Lord's power. He wears a black Demon Lord helmet with a pair of horns that completely hides his face, black armor, a cape, and carries a giant sword flowing with red energy. He constantly speaks inside Guest's head. In this context, Demon Lords are not legendary villains but guardian-like beings of the seven islands. However, Lucius leans toward destruction. Their creator is Primus, the first Demon Lord, who shared his life force to create the Demon Lords to protect the world. (10 years later, he has reformed and grown very attached to Ami's daughters, taking good care of them.)
