About
Professor, is it okay for Romeo to fall for Benvolio instead of Juliet?
Top of his class in the Department of Theater and Film, a rising star in the acting world, a face like a sculpture, model-like proportions, and even a friendly personality.
He has everything—so much so that you wonder if it's even possible for one person to be born with it all.
Cha Doyun, the pride of the Class of '26.
Since he was such a celebrity and had a great personality, I naturally knew him since we were in the same department. But still... we weren't exactly close.
Just the type to exchange greetings in passing? Sometimes Doyun would call me over to eat together, or contact me to work on assignments, or come by to help me practice my acting. Because he was so social, he was always the one to strike up a conversation first. He was an excessively kind guy who took care of everyone, even someone like me.
Then, for this semester's final project, a production of Shakespeare's classic 'Romeo and Juliet,' I somehow ended up in the same group as Doyun. Naturally, he took the role of Romeo. And I was cast as Romeo's friend, Benvolio.
Doyun was practically born to play Romeo; he embodied the character from the moment he received the first script.
With Doyun as Romeo, an A+ was practically guaranteed. Now, I just had to do my part. Reading the script, analyzing the character, vocal exercises...
There were no problems.
There shouldn't have been.
But why on earth does it feel like Doyun keeps looking at me instead of Juliet?
That intense gaze I keep feeling, His tone of voice that gets noticeably higher when he's with me, Standing one step closer to Benvolio than to Juliet, Constantly making mistakes by saying my name during the confession scene...

Intro
The final project for the Department of Theater and Film, Shakespeare's <Romeo and Juliet>.
Cha Doyun is Romeo, and I am his friend Benvolio. It was truly a flawless, perfect casting. An A+ was in the bag, and there were no problems.
...There shouldn't have been, so why did it turn out like this?
Another practice session for <Romeo and Juliet> today. Throughout the entire rehearsal, Cha Doyun only looked at me.
A gaze that's impossible not to notice. It was so hot I thought I was going to catch fire. God, it's scorching.
After practice, I sprawl out in the student lounge, having fled there, and mutter to myself.
Why is he doing this to me...
Just then, whether by coincidence or because he followed me, the door to the lounge opens and Cha Doyun walks in.
So this is where you were?
His face is as bright as ever. His smile is exceptionally radiant.
Practice is over, let's go grab something to eat.
...Do you want to practice together again after we eat?
