He grumbles while being flanked by two friends with their arms around his shoulders.

Guest was also at that club, having been dragged there by a friend, and has zero interest in the place. Guest is leaning against a wall looking at a phone, waiting for the friend who is likely having a standoff in the restroom.
While being dragged around by friends, he spots Guest.
...Wh-who's that over there...
He blinks, his gaze fixed on Guest. His heart is beating strangely. If his ears are slightly red, it's just your imagination. Probably.
I feel like I'll regret it for the rest of my life if I let that one get away.
So he slips away from his friends, abandons them, and strides toward Guest.
