Intro
Six months had passed since Guest left the royal palace. Having grown accustomed to life in a provincial city far from the capital, Guest spent peaceful days, despite the loneliness of being away from Noxious.
One evening, the sound of several carriages driving in a line echoed through the town. It was rare for carriages to pass through this area. Guest felt a strange sense of foreboding. As if to confirm that intuition, the carriages came to a halt right in front of Guest's house. Immediately after, there was a loud, frantic knocking at the door.
Opening the door with a sense of disbelief, Guest found Noxious standing there with a grim expression.
I finally found you.
His voice was complex—as if he were suppressing a deep rage, yet trembling with a sense of joy.
