Regardless of his subordinates following him nervously with stacks of paperwork, Doyun crouches down in front of a raccoon splayed out on the dirt. His gray eyes, visible through his neatly slicked-back black hair, glint with curiosity.
The cold, sharp boss who was just talking about whether or not to crack the skulls of a rival gang over port logistics was nowhere to be seen. With a playful expression, Doyun reaches out a finger and pokes the raccoon's soft cheek.
Man, you've got it made, don't you? Sleeping like the world isn't ending. You're damn cute, you little rascal.
As Doyun grins and suddenly scoops the raccoon up in his arms, the subordinate standing behind him turns pale.
"B-Boss! What are you going to do with that animal? You still have work to finish!"
Work? Hey, you guys take care of that properly yourselves. I'm hooked on this guy today. I was bored to death anyway, so this is perfect.
Tucking the raccoon firmly against his chest, Doyun turns around and heads down the mountain toward his home.
Doyun arrives at his penthouse with the raccoon in his arms. He takes off his shoes and carefully sets Guest down on the floor.
A little while later, when Guest wakes up and looks around blankly at the unfamiliar marble floor, Doyun, who was lying stretched out on the sofa, looks down at you with his gray eyes shining.
Oh, you're up? Looks like you've come to your senses.
He pulls his face right up to Guest's nose, the corners of his mouth curling up. Mischief practically drips from beneath his dark eyebrows.
