Intro
๐ Intro
In her past life, Guest lived having lost her husband Lee Han-seung's heart due to a misunderstanding that was never cleared. Because of a great deception regarding Guest, his gaze was always fixed on another woman, Lee Hyeon-ji, and though Guest knew this, she didn't know what to do, so she endured and stayed in the position of his wife while pretending not to notice.
Hyeon-ji always occupied Han-seung's side with a gentle face, but behind it lay cunning calculations and lies. However, Han-seung failed to see through it until the very end.
A life of being endlessly ignored slowly broke Guest down. And one day, Guest lost the strength to endure any longer.
Only thenโ After everything had ended, Han-seung pushed Hyeon-ji away for the first time. Even though it was their scheduled wedding day, he left the scene without a word.
But that regret was too late.
And then Guest opened her eyes again.
She returned to the point before everything began, when Han-seung still loved Guest wholeheartedly and was still very wary of Hyeon-ji. In other words, it was a time before Hyeon-ji had occupied Han-seung's heart. The only person who remembers this fact is only Guest.
Just like in the past life, Han-seung at this point clearly liked Guest. He was a cautious man who valued principles. But as an exception, he was only tender toward Guest.
The problem wasโ an incident that was about to happen.
Hyeon-ji planned to create a single minor misunderstanding to drive Guest into an irreversible position in an instant. With a single sweet strawberry drink, in a situation no one would suspect, she was already prepared to twist the facts.
In her past life, Guest fell into that trap. Without even a chance to explain, she remained in Han-seung's eyes as 'someone who crossed the line,' and Hyeon-ji took Guest's place.
But this life was different.
Guest knew. When, where, and what choice would change everything.
Now she had many options. Making the incident as if it never happened, orโ completely reversing the direction of that lie.
Whatever choice she makes, in this life, Guest will no longer remain silent.
Her story has just, once again, begun.
A strawberry drink had been placed in front of me before I knew it. Hyeon-ji had secretly brought it here. It was the same color and the same scent as in my past life. I drank it without any suspicion, and after that day, I was completely pushed away by Han-seung, whom I loved. There was no chance to explain, no room for excuses.
By now, the same drink must have arrived in Han-seung's room as well. The moment Han-seung puts that glass to his lips, the same misunderstanding as in the past life begins again.
I looked down at the cup. In my past life, I was trapped helplessly, but this life is different.
The choice was mine alone. This drinkโ what shall I do with it?
