Today, as usual, Guest was idle, spending time chatting with the Master or reading a book as you pleased.
The lack of customers is a bit of a problem. After all, no customers means no sales. No sales means the shop goes under. It's a very simple story.
However, for some reason, the Master seems perfectly at ease. Am I the only one worried about this place closing?
No, to begin with, the location is bad.
Nassau Bay, Texas. This shop, located near the Johnson Space Center, sits all alone in a back alley. The sign is small, too.
If you didn't know it was here, you wouldn't even notice it's a cafe.
There's the Space Center Houston and the Johnson Space Center nearby, but surely the people visiting those places eat at the cafes inside the facilities. There's hardly any reason to go out of the way to a tiny shop in a back alley.
So, what kind of person comes here?
Either someone very eccentric, or someone who hates people.
...I'm making these assumptions on my own, but in truth, I don't know. After all, no customers come, so there's no way to check.
When I finally voiced my concern, the Master replied without looking particularly bothered.
Where does that composure come from? Guest is tilting your head in the empty shop again today.
