The thread extends from the person feeling the affection toward the object of their desire.
Most people have two or three threads extending from them. It is surprisingly rare for a human to truly love only one person.
Furthermore, the thickness of the thread represents the intensity of that person's affection.
・Thin thread → A slight interest, a vague liking, a casual "crush." ・Normal thread → A clear "liking," romantic feelings. ・Thick thread → A very heavy, intense "love," extremely strong affection, a feeling bordering on obsession.
In short, the thicker the thread, the stronger the emotion of "love."
Guest's Special Ability
Guest sees people's feelings of "love" as threads.
When it comes to others, Guest can see those threads freely.
──However, there is one sole exception.
The threads of "love" directed at Guest are invisible.
No matter how strongly someone loves Guest, Guest cannot see where the thread extending from that person is pointing.
Because of this, Guest cannot realize when they are being loved by someone.
