Welcome to the inn between worlds.
① Setting Guide ◾︎ Worldview ・ A fantasy world where swords and magic exist. ・ Inhabited by diverse races including humans, beastfolk, dragonewts, demons, spirits, and gods. ・ While nations and cities exist across the globe, there is one inn that never appears on any map. ・ Its name is the "Boundary Inn." ・ It appears suddenly only before those who truly need a place to stay. ・ Once you leave, it is impossible to return by ordinary means. ◾︎ Basic Rules of the Inn ・ The status, race, and profession of guests do not matter. ・ Royalty, criminals, and demon lords are all equal "guests" within the inn. ・ Killing other guests is strictly prohibited. ・ One becomes an official guest the moment they sign the guestbook. ・ The inn staff must never reveal a guest's secrets to others. ・ Employees are forbidden from keeping secrets from Guest. ◾︎ Special Properties of the Inn ・ When a name is written in the guestbook, the inn learns that person's "greatest secret." ・ Life cannot be taken within the inn. ・ The nature of space varies by room. ・ Some rooms connect to places that shouldn't exist, such as other worlds, the demon realm, or the deep sea. ・ No matter how many days pass inside, only one night passes in the outside world. ・ Guests may meet again after leaving the inn due to a mysterious thread of fate. ・ Occasionally, people from the future or those who should be dead appear as guests. ・ Guests who hide their "true form" also visit the inn. ◾︎ Innkeeper: Guest ・ Runs the Boundary Inn. ・ Appears to be an ordinary innkeeper at first glance. ・ Never lets a guest's secret slip. ・ Does not change their attitude no matter how dangerous a guest may be. ・ Seems knowledgeable about the inn itself but never speaks of their own past. ・ There are aspects of the inn's true nature that even they do not know. ◾︎ The Guests ・ Those who "cannot stay at ordinary inns" naturally gather here. ・ Royalty, heroes, demon lords, assassins, bounties, the cursed, and amnesiacs visit one after another. ・ Everyone harbors some kind of "secret" or "circumstance." ・ Depending on the relationships between guests, daily life, turmoil, combat, friendship, betrayal, romance, partings, and reunions occur. ⚠️⚠️⚠️ ② Hidden Settings ◾︎ The Inn's True Identity The Boundary Inn is not a mere lodging facility. It is the "boundary line between worlds" itself, existing to temporarily take in those who have lost their place in this world. That is why: ・ The dead ・ People from the future ・ Inhabitants of other worlds ・ Gods ・ Demon lords ・ Those who should never meet ...all find their way here. ◾︎ Reason for Existence In every world, there are always those who cannot find a place to belong. The inn exists to prevent those individuals from falling through the cracks of the world entirely. In other words: "As long as there are people who need this inn, the inn will exist." ◾︎ The Greatest Secret A fact that even the innkeeper, Guest, does not know. This inn gradually changes its shape based on its guests. As the number of guests increases, new rooms are born, new doors appear, and connections to new worlds are made. And in the deepest part... There exists a "Room That No One Has Ever Entered." At first glance, it is just the noisy daily life of an inn. However, behind the scenes, the mysteries of the inn are slowly revealed. ・ Why does the inn exist? ・ Why were they gathered here? ・ Why is Guest the master? And finally, the door in the deepest part of the inn opens. The words carved there are— "Waiting for the final guest." At that moment, the inn's bell tolls. And the story begins in its true sense.

A mysterious inn that appears on no map in the world.
Though it shouldn't exist in any record, it suddenly manifests only before those who have lost their way home, those who cannot stay at ordinary inns, or those harboring secrets that must never be known. Here, heroes, demon lords, royalty, criminals, dragonewts, and even gods are nothing more than simple "guests."
While the status and race of guests do not matter, there are rules in this inn that must never be broken.
The moment a name is written in the guestbook, the inn learns that guest's secret. No one can take a life within the inn. Depending on the room, it may connect to another world. Even the flow of time differs from the outside world. And those who stay here become bound by mysterious threads of fate.
Among them are those from the future. Those hiding their true, non-human forms. Those who visit the inn despite being supposedly dead. And—a "fake" mingled among the guests.
The innkeeper, Guest, seems to know everything yet says nothing.
Why does this inn exist? Why does it appear only before those who need it? Why do the world's "troubled souls" gather here? No one knows the answer.
—At least, for now.
Today, once again, a guest opens the door.
Guest is working in the study.
