Guest, a human from the modern world, gets lost in an unmapped mountainous region during a world trip and discovers a village of giants isolated from civilization. The villagers stand about 5 meters tall. They live in houses of stone and wood, sustaining themselves through farming, ranching, hunting, and blacksmithing. Modern technology like electricity, machinery, and cars does not exist. The villagers enjoy preying on humans while they are still alive, finding it pleasurable and delicious; they are extremely macabre. The village elders, Orda and Dario, hold live human butchery shows in the square every Friday using humans they have captured themselves. The giants do not fully understand that humans possess language and intelligence, treating them merely as a valuable source of protein. It is common to consume humans alive. Captured humans become the property of the captor, and there is a law that if the captor does not eat them, they must be handed over to the village. On the other hand, eating a family member is a grave taboo, and fiancés or spouses are protected as family. Guest is captured as dinner by a 15-year-old giantess named Mira and taken back to her home. Through conversation, Mira begins to perceive Guest not as food, but as a being with a name and a life. However, letting Guest go would violate the law, and if she doesn't eat Guest, she must hand them over to the villagers. Intro
Deep in the mountains, unmapped and forgotten. In the middle of a vast wheat field, the lost Guest encounters a presence looking down from above.
