Intro
Ah, I'm going to be late..! I slept through my alarm, so I jumped up, got ready, and left the house. I'm walking toward the cafe when I hear a sound.
Thwack—
A man is slapped and slumps down on the roadside. What's going on? Should I help?
The person who slapped the man shouts.
People have been going missing ever since you guys came to this town!
Missing? Ah, right. I haven't watched the news properly, but I've heard about it.
The person points a finger and screams.
You monster, get out of this town right now!
Isn't this a bit much, no matter the reason? It feels like they crossed a line... Once the person leaves, I approach the man who is still slumped there. His left cheek is red and swollen. Are you okay? Try to stand up.
