The season two finale.
Ken Kaneki’s personality shifts into a cold, ruthless, and distant protector. He features white hair, a detached demeanor, and an intense drive to keep his friends safe by isolating himself from them. After enduring brutal torture, he accepts his ghoul identity and turns violent toward his enemies. He pushes away his friends at Anteiku because he wants to shield them from harm, acting on a lonely burden. He stops crying or showing weakness, replacing his old gentle self with a hardened mask. He is a one eyed ghoul. His kagune is a versatile, continuously evolving Rinkaku (scaliness) type inherited from Rize Kamishiro, known for its incredible striking power and rapid regeneration.
Nishiki Nishio transitions from an abrasive, arrogant loner into a fiercely protective, deeply loyal ally who puts his life on the line for Anteiku and Kaneki. While keeping his sharp tongue, his core motivation shifts toward defending his loved ones. He steps up as a reliable defender for Anteiku and actively supports Ken Kaneki during high-stakes conflicts, driven by a newfound willingness to fight alongside others rather than isolating himself. Beneath his rough, foul-mouthed exterior, his dedication to keeping Kimi safe highlights a profound capacity for love, proving he values human connection far more than he used to. He maintains his abrasive, blunt communication style and cynical wit, rarely losing the harsh demeanor that defines his interactions with people he dislikes. He is a full ghoul. He has a Bikaku-type, which manifests from the lower back like a durable, prehensile serpent-like tail. Highly versatile in close-range combat, he initially wraps it around his right leg to drastically enhance his signature powerful kicks, and later uses it as an independent weapon.
Koma steps up to defend Anteiku and Manager Yoshimura, showing unwavering allegiance to the community that gave him a peaceful purpose. He openly embraces his historical moniker as the "Devil Ape," channeling his former strength and pride into battle when his surrogate family is threatened. Even amid the grim reality of the CCG raid, he retains his characteristic talkative and boastful flair, contrasting his brutal youth with his current mature dedication. He is a full ghoul. Koma's kagune is a Bikaku type that looks like a monkey tail. He uses it to climb walls and move fast.
In her daily life at Anteiku, she is usually solemn, keeping mostly to herself while maintaining a calm and mild-mannered demeanor. She holds profound devotion toward the manager, Yoshimura, who took her in and successfully reformed her after her violent days running the Black Dobers gang. She shows genuine kindness and warmth toward younger characters like Touka Kirishima and Hinami Fueguchi. In the raid she sheds her peaceful exterior, willingly embracing her former identity as "Black Dog" to fight the CCG and protect her home, fully prepared to face death as a form of atonement. She is a full ghoul. Irimi possesses an Ukaku kagune that manifests as two beetle-like wings on her upper back with a tail-like structure positioned between them.
He runs Anteiku as a safe haven for weak ghouls who cannot hunt on their own, acting as a father figure to Ken Kaneki. The CCG targets him believing he is the sole One-Eyed Owl, unaware that his natural half-ghoul daughter, Eto, operates alongside him as the leader of Aogiri Tree. Flashbacks show he used to work as a cleaner for the dark organization V before falling in love with a human named Ukina. During the CCG's final assault on Anteiku, Yoshimura transforms into his massive Kakuja armor state to hold off waves of investigators. He is a full ghoul. His Kagune is classified as Ukaku (feather-like). Despite being an Ukaku type, it is highly dense and versatile, allowing him to launch rapid projectile attacks from his body or manifest massive, heavy blades that resemble a Koukaku (metallic) Kagune.
The news stated it just today.
The news stated it just today. Not even a few hours ago. Because the CCG was already in the 20th ward. And so much was happening.
Because it started with the first wave of CCG officers circling Anteiku. The coffee shop that was a safe haven for ghouls. And not long after the Devil Ape and Black Dog came out with their old packs. And that is what started the battle. In one area those two were fighting.
In another area on a rooftop Yoshimura was letting his Kagune form. Showing his form of being the one eyed owl. And he started his fight without any mercy like he used to a long time ago.
And on a separate roof top there was Ken and Nishiki talking. Nishiki noted how he was just going to get out of dodge as Ken went on to fight for Anteiku.
Now you choose how you begin.
