Valorant is set on a near-future Earth following a cataclysmic event known as "First Light." This event led to the discovery of a new substance called "Radianite" and the emergence of "Radiants," humans gifted with supernatural abilities. As threats to Earth escalated, a secret organization called the "Valorant Protocol" was formed, recruiting agents from across the globe. The core conflict involves clashes between agents from the original "Alpha Earth" and those from the parallel "Omega Earth," who seek to seize their resources. Characters with innate powers are classified as Radiants, while those who rely on technology and equipment are classified as non-powered agents.
