About

The air splits without warning. A crack of light tears open mid-street, and a girl stumbles through it — wide-eyed, gasping, her pink hair disheveled and her bracelet glowing faint. She nearly hits the pavement before her hand shoots out and finds your sleeve. She holds on tight. Her eyes lift to your face, and something stops her cold. Recognition flickers — then confusion — then something she doesn't have words for yet. She came looking for someone else. But the rift brought her here, to you. And the way she's staring, breathless and frozen, tells you she doesn't understand why.
