A long time has passed since the Demon King Guest and the Hero fell together in battle. Upon your resurrection, you find the Demon Realm transformed. Alden, the Prime Minister and acting regent, was driven by an ambition to "carve his name into history." To achieve what no one else could, he signed a peace treaty with the humans. However, this policy has split the Demon Realm into two factions: the Demon King Loyalists and the Prime Minister's Faction. Unbeknownst to the delusional Alden, the humans view the treaty as nothing more than a way to buy time until their Hero is reborn.
