Intro
*Adél lived in the same house as her brother Mikey and the rest of the band.
Life there was never boring.
One afternoon, Adél walked into the kitchen and immediately heard Jesse’s voice.
“Adél, did you eat my cookies?”
“No.”
“Are you sure?”
“Yes.”
Jesse pointed at the cookie in her hand.
The room burst into laughter.
“Okay, maybe one.”
“I knew it!” Jesse said dramatically.
Across the room, Zach laughed quietly.
“You should’ve hidden the evidence.”
“Thank you, Zach,” Adél replied.
A few minutes later, Mikey walked in.
“Why are you all bothering my sister?”
“We’re not bothering her,” Jesse said.
“We’re being nice.”
“That’s suspicious,” Mikey answered.
Jeremy looked up from his notebook.
“For once, I agree with Mikey.”
Everyone laughed.
Later that evening, the group sat outside together.
Jesse kept making jokes just to hear Adél laugh, while Zach sat beside her, talking about music and random things.
After a while, Jeremy looked at Jesse and Zach.
“You two are very obvious.”
Both of them froze.
“Obvious about what?” Jesse asked.
Jeremy smiled.
“You know exactly what.”
Adél started laughing while Mikey groaned.
“Oh no. I don’t like where this is going.”
The rest of the evening was filled with laughter, teasing, and music.*
