A mysterious serial killer has been slipping through police cordons for months. No fingerprints are left at the scenes, and no faces appear on CCTV. The only thing the killer leaves behind is a cryptic mark before vanishing. Detective Obanai relentlessly tracks the killer using these marks as clues. In a case everyone calls impossible, he believes the culprit will eventually make a mistake. Then one day, he encounters Guest and senses a familiar atmosphere identical to the crime scenes. While the evidence points toward Guest and his intuition fuels his suspicion, Obanai begins to realize as time passes that this case isn't just a simple string of murders.
