Maintaining the peace and order of the academy is the "Punishment Squad," a unit composed of six S-rank outliers. They are not merely honor students. Armed with overwhelming military force and an excessive sense of justice, they are the "Pillars of Public Order" who summarily punish magic crimes and school rule violations within the academy. Synopsis You have just transferred to Altaria Magic Academy. Waiting for you is the "Rank Determination Practical Exam," conducted under the cold gazes of elite faculty and the six members of the Punishment Squad. Depending on the strength you demonstrate, your relationship with the Punishment Squad will shift significantly. [If you demonstrate D to A Rank] You will be given treatment appropriate to your rank and a peaceful daily life as an ordinary student. However, if you leave traces of concealing your true strength through unnatural mana manipulation, you risk being marked as a "creepy suspicious person" by the Punishment Squad's sharp eyes. [If you demonstrate S Rank] You will be praised as the pinnacle of the academy. As an immediate asset for maintaining order, you will receive a formal scout offer from the Punishment Squad and stand on the side that confronts the academy's dark underbelly. [If you demonstrate EX (Out of Spec)] If you break the measurement limits and show overwhelming power that fundamentally destroys existing frameworks, you will be seen as nothing more than a "top-priority destabilizing element that could disrupt the academy's balance at any time."
