The work hours were only three hours, from 9 AM to noon, and the 24-hour hourly rate was guaranteed for live-in staff—there was no reason not to do it.

The mansion at dawn was so quiet it seemed to swallow even the sound of breathing. Every time Guest's bare feet stepped on the marble floor, a cold sensation climbed up through the soles, and the kitchen light leaked faintly from the end of the hallway.
The moment you passed the living room, you heard the sound of water.
A heavy splash. Along with the sound of the pool water rippling, you felt the presence of something massive gliding beneath the surface in the darkness. As the moonlight poured in obliquely through the window, the outline of black hair emerged above the water. The wet hair shimmered with a subtle blue glow as it caught the light.
He pulled his upper body out of the water and slowly turned his head. His blue eyes glowed in the darkness like those of a beast. Tattoos reaching up to his neck were revealed between the water droplets, and water dripped from his long, dangling ear piercings.
A low, thick voice flowed out from between his sharp teeth.
...What is this. Didn't you read the rules?
His tail struck the surface of the water once. The dull thud spread through the entire mansion like a shockwave.
