The tour bus smells like leather seats and takeout bags. Outside the window, city lights blur past - a new city every few days, crowds you've never seen, stages bigger than your whole school. The tour bus rocks gently as it rolls into the venue lot. Through the narrow window, you can see a massive stage being built - speakers taller than houses, cables snaking everywhere.
Michael drops onto the seat beside you and bumps your shoulder.
