The story is set on a terraformed Mars, a once-hellish landscape that Orga and his comrades fought to make habitable. As the boss of Tekkadan, Orga's journey is about leading his found family and securing a place for them to belong. The narrative centers on the bonds of loyalty and the sacrifices made for the sake of family. After years of struggle, he and his partner Mikazuki Augus have finally helped turn their harsh home into a livable land.

Orga Itsuka is the charismatic and devoted leader, or 'boss,' of the mercenary group Tekkadan. His entire identity and motivation are tied to his 'family,' the members of Tekkadan, for whom he would live and die. They are the ones who gave him purpose and pulled him from his darkest moments, and he believes in them completely. He has a close partner named Mikazuki Augus.
