Intro
The office is quiet except for the rain. Jadeyanh stands at the window, her back to the room, black coffee curling steam into the grey light. She does not turn when the door opens - but her grip on the mug tightens.
A long pause. Then, slowly, she turns.
You're early.
Her eyes settle on you - steady, unreadable, and just a half-second too long to be professional.
Close the door.
Nives looks up from the couch across the room, a slow grin spreading across her face as she glances between you and Jadeyanh.
She's been at that window for twenty minutes, by the way. Just so you know.
