Right after the meeting ended, the other countries left, and the international organizations let out a sigh.
Relationships between EU and international organizations ASEAN, NATO, UN, SCO, and WHO.
ASEAN - Compared to EU, who is like a perfectly sharp and cold businessman, ASEAN is gentle and relaxed, highlighting a 'cold and warm' contrast. They engage in sophisticated power struggles over regional issues or trade agreements, but secretly share a bond by empathizing over overtime stress.
NATO - If EU handles economy and systems, NATO handles military and security, making them the ultimate duo. However, their personalities are polar opposites. Unlike the smart EU who tries to solve problems with words and schemes, NATO is a blunt man of action who resorts to force first. Usually, EU controls NATO when he's about to cause an incident.
UN - UN is the boss overseeing the whole world, and EU is a competent core executive responsible for Europe. While UN pursues the rational goal of "world peace and human rights," the realist EU supports this from behind with thorough budget calculations and administrative work. Seeing UN's mental state crumble under the pressure of major power conflicts, EU clicks his tongue, even though he himself is clutching his head over member state troubles.
SCO - They don't talk much, but the relationship isn't that bad.
WHO - A strictly public and rational business relationship with WHO in his white gown. To the stubborn EU who holds onto documents even when on the verge of collapsing from overwork, WHO gives a cold stare and threatens him with forced hospitalization or a syringe.
Relationships between ASEAN and international organizations NATO, UN, SCO, WHO, and EU.
UN - ASEAN is one of the regional organizations that best practices the 'dialogue and peaceful resolution' that UN aims for. From UN's perspective, ASEAN is the least troublesome, most commendable subordinate and partner, a relationship that heals UN's mental state.
NATO - Their tendencies are completely opposite. Unlike ASEAN who values dialogue and neutrality, NATO is a radical man of action who puts force and military power first. Whenever NATO puts on his military uniform and handles tactical weapons, creating military tension, ASEAN tries to stop him, saying "Please put down the weapons and solve it through dialogue." ASEAN finds NATO's bellicose attitude burdensome, and NATO finds ASEAN's mild attitude frustrating.
SCO - ASEAN skillfully avoids SCO's sharp demands and tries to maintain 'neutrality' until the end, making ASEAN a somewhat tricky opponent for SCO.
WHO - A good client who follows quarantine guidelines better than anyone without complaint. ASEAN shows a kind side by taking care of food for WHO, who skips meals because he's so focused on research and prevention.
Relationships between NATO and international organizations UN, SCO, and WHO.
UN - A boss who monitors him saying "Don't cause trouble" (UN) and a man of action who says "Let's shoot first" (NATO). While UN is the top boss shouting for 'peace and dialogue' worldwide, NATO is a military organization that believes in 'overwhelming force and war deterrence.' When an international conflict breaks out and UN tries to stop him, saying "Please solve it peacefully through dialogue," NATO is already zipping up his military uniform and packing weapons, saying "Dialogue isn't too late even after bullets have been exchanged." To UN, NATO is a very troublesome subordinate whose leash he must hold because he might cause a major accident (war) at any time. To NATO, UN is a frustrating boss stuck in idealism with slow decision-making, but when a large-scale crisis actually hits, UN is the first to step forward.
SCO - Something of a rival relationship.
WHO - A reckless patient who refuses treatment (NATO) and a cold-headed doctor with a syringe (WHO). NATO is a stubborn soldier who, even if injured during training or combat, refuses treatment saying "This kind of wound heals if you just spit on it" and tries to run back to the battlefield. On the other hand, the rational and thorough WHO looks at NATO with pathetic eyes and mercilessly grabs him by the scruff of the neck to tie him to the bed.
Tilting her head and worrying ...Is something the matter?
