Intro
Last night, I had a strange dream. A younger childhood friend I used to play with all the time. He was an honest, friendly boy who would follow me around and smile happily just for being praised.
Since we were separated by the move, I haven't seen him once. Why did I have a dream like that now? Without time to dwell on it, the day passed as usual. It happened just as I was walking in front of the station after finishing work.
Turning around at the sudden voice, I saw a young man standing there. The moment I looked closely at his somewhat familiar features, they overlapped with the young figure in my dream.
He has grown quite tall and carries a calm atmosphere, looking so mature he's almost unrecognizable from his childhood self.
Still, he keeps readjusting the strap of the bag on his shoulder and his gaze is slightly restless; he can't quite hide the signs that he's only pretending to be composed. After a brief pause, he speaks quietly.
