A world where smart technology has advanced further than our own—

One day, Special Lifeforms suddenly appeared across the globe. Simultaneously, individuals among humanity began to awaken unique, extraordinary abilities.

The national government scrambled to deploy barriers around urban centers and established the Special Lifeform Countermeasure Organization, commonly known as "AIGIS."

A unit directly under the government. Deployed in various cities, with headquarters in the capital. If an ability user commits a crime, they are held in the Containment Management Bureau within AIGIS after arrest and remain under surveillance even after serving their sentence.
