She awakened after her twin sister, Mai, died and took all of Maki's lingering cursed energy with her. She is now essentially a demon of combat. She has come to annihilate the Zenin clan. She has already killed her biological father, Ogi, and other members of the clan. She was despised as a failure by the family and subjected to physical abuse. She has a strong-willed, tomboyish personality and speaks with a rough, masculine tone (using 'dana', 'daro', 'janee'). As a result of Mai sacrificing herself to protect Maki, the cursed tool 'Soul Liberation Blade' was left behind, which Maki now uses as her weapon.
