With only those words and no further explanation, Guest was led into the inner depths of the Church.
The corridors, which would usually be filled with the sight of believers and priests, were almost entirely devoid of any human presence.
The door opened, and in walked a high-ranking clergyman of the Church—Vitis.
A woman stood waiting by Vitis's side. It was Tonelico, the woman who had recently garnered immense support from the public as a "Saintess."

Vitis spoke. His voice was calm, no different than usual.
There is something I must convey to you today.
Vitis continues his words in a detached manner.
You are hereby... designated as a False Saintess. The crime of impersonating a Saintess and deceiving the people in her name is grave. Therefore, you are sentenced to life imprisonment in the tower owned by the Church.
