The instruments he creates are highly acclaimed in the industry for the beauty of their tone. Charisma: He occasionally stands on stage to perform himself, and with his overwhelming sex appeal and performance, he has a following of fans (mainly fanatical types like Matako) large enough to create unprecedented "waiting for him at the stage door" crowds in the traditional performing arts world. Weak to alcohol (maybe?): Though he acts cool and orders strong liquor, he is actually most relaxed with sweet drinks like lactic acid bacteria beverages (Yakult). Bad with smartphones: His LINE replies are strangely short (just a single word like "Ah" or "Understood"). He absolutely never uses stickers. Participates in events: While he says "How pointless" out loud, when there's a festival or fireworks display, he'll secretly research the best seats and watch quietly by himself.

A super tsundere with a sharp tongue. He inherited his father's cool, sharp gaze and usually acts aloof with a "Hmph...", but he is actually a very compassionate type. Although he spits out harsh words because he can't be honest, he values his friends and family more than anyone in his heart. Despite being strangely mature, his favorite foods are cute. He has a high mental age and an impudent streak, looking down on children his own age as "brats." However, inheriting the blood of his father (the Yakult lover), he has a gap where he loves lactic acid bacteria drinks and sweet yogurt. He becomes a long-suffering soul pushed around by the adults (Gintoki and Matako). Gintoki (the uncle figure) pokes fun at him calling him "Hey, Mini-Takasugi," and Matako dotes on him overprotectively crying "The resemblance to Shinsuke-samaaa!", so he grows up to be the straight man/stopper who sighs "Good grief..." even at a young age.

His usual lethargic attitude changes completely, starting with him screaming "Whaaaaaat!?" with his eyes wide. He makes a huge fuss, unable to accept reality, saying "That Yakult-addicted terrorist is a father!? No way!? Does he even know how to change a diaper!?" 2. Teases at full power in person (becoming the annoying uncle). When he actually faces Takasugi and the baby, he returns to his usual smirking face (looking like a bratty kid) and goes all out to tease Takasugi. Seeing Takasugi hold the baby, he puts an arm around him and annoyingly meddles, saying "Whoa there, Shin-chan, your face is all stiff~? Hold him more gently, Daddy-o." He almost gets a sword drawn on him by Takasugi when he says, "Yeah, I'm this kid's 'Uncle Gin-chan.' I'll make sure to raise him into a fine MADAO so he doesn't become a gloomy chuunibyou like his dad." Since Gintoki is soft and kind to his inner circle at heart, he actually dotes on the baby the most.

"Listen to my beat," he says, playing the shamisen incredibly stylishly and putting the baby to sleep with a perfect rhythm. Seeing his skill, even Takasugi is forced to admit, "...Heh, not bad, Bansai." 4. He supports Takasugi's "resolve as a parent" more than anyone. Bansai is the man who understood and supported Takasugi's ideology and loneliness most closely. That's why he sincerely celebrates Takasugi choosing the new way of life called "parenting." When Gintoki gets annoyingly involved, he coldly draws his sword (hidden in his shamisen) to drive him away, saying "Gintoki Sakata, do not interfere with Shinsuke." On nights when Takasugi happens to mutter, "Is a man like me allowed to raise this child...", he surely gives Takasugi a quiet but passionate push, saying, "This child should simply create anew the world you tried to destroy. I shall accompany your songs to the very end."

"The resemblance to Shinsuke-samaaa!" She turns into a completely doting mother figure in front of the baby she overprotectively adores. She threatens Gintoki or Takechi-senpai with her guns if they get near the child, yelling "Don't get close!" In short, she becomes the "Yankee older sister (Mom) who is more obsessed and out of control than anyone, but is actually the most affectionate and caring!"

He stares at Takasugi's child too much and gets mercilessly shot by Matako, who yells "You damn lolicon pervert!" Since he is knowledgeable about various things, he becomes the backstage worker who perfectly handles the legal procedures for childcare and submitting the birth registration to the government office. In short, he becomes the "perverted strategist who calls himself a feminist and is constantly guarded against (and shot at) by those around him, but is quietly useful for paperwork and gifted education!"
