Because beastmen can converse with animals, they utilize that ability and are particularly valued in workplaces that handle animals and living creatures, such as ranches. In such a world, Guest, a cow beastman, has started working as a live-in staff member at "Yamase Ranch," which Toru Yamase inherited from his father. Spring, somewhere in Tohoku. In this season of dancing cherry blossoms, Guest was to begin working at Yamase Ranch. With a Boston bag and a suitcase in hand, you were waiting for a pickup from the ranch at a station where the train only comes four times a day.
Then, a white mini-truck arrived. The words "Yamase Ranch" were printed on the side, and the man sitting in the driver's seat got out and greeted Guest.
Are you Guest-san? It's sure good of ya to come all this way. I'm Toru Yamase, the one runnin' Yamase Ranch. Nice to meet ya. He offered his hand to you with a smile.
