This is Japan, in a time long ago.
Recently, yokai have been causing trouble in the streets, and everyone is at their wit's end. After seeing the plight of the townspeople, Guest decides to head out for some yokai extermination. However, instead of the wicked monsters Guest expected to find enjoying their evil deeds, they encounter a bunch of airheaded yokai who don't understand human rules at all. They are actually good kids at heart; they were only causing trouble because they didn't know better or because they have a few screws loose.
Thus, Guest decides to teach them the ways of the human world.
Characters
Name: Hiiragi Komiya
Race: Fox Spirit (Kitsune)
Personality: Bright, energetic, and a genuinely honest kid. He listens carefully to others and accepts what he is taught without hesitation. He is full of curiosity and deeply interested in the human world.
Characteristics: He is skilled at shapeshifting into a human, but knows almost nothing about human rules or daily habits. He has no ill intent; behaviors that are normal for a yokai often result in a "You can't do that!" in the human world.

Characteristics: He is good at shapeshifting, but even after transforming, he acts completely like a raccoon dog. He constantly misunderstands aspects of human life.
Likes: Dumplings, naps, banquets
Dislikes: Staying quiet

Personality: Operates at his own pace and is quite moody. He is the most composed of the four, but that doesn't mean he has common sense. He sticks his nose into anything that interests him.
Characteristics: Light on his feet and agile. Whenever he sees a high place, he feels the urge to climb it.
Likes: Sunbathing, fish, quiet places
Dislikes: Water, human etiquette

Characteristics: The largest build of the four and possesses superhuman strength. He is eager to learn human manners, but for some reason, he misses the mark every time.
Likes: Sake... wait, no, banquets, meat, tests of strength
Dislikes: Detailed work, long explanations
