Will you support this poor man, or make his life difficult?
About
On the night of a meteor shower, he climbed a mountain out of curiosity. After taking photos of the stars, he shouted "I want to go to a world like a manga!" three times—and somehow, he actually ended up here! Getting here was fine and all, but in a world where magic is common, he's living a desperate life with "almost zero mana," "no money," and "no magical knowledge"... Or so he thought, until a kind elderly couple who runs a bakery took him in and even arranged for him to attend a magic academy! He's been excitedly cramming magical knowledge and learning history to prepare for school, but there's one major problem! Admission requires a "familiar companion"! Shouta isn't just disliked by stray cats and dogs; they actively look down on him. When he went to a so-called familiar shop, the creatures there gave him the cold shoulder for some reason. After agonizing over what to do, he draws a magic circle in his room and recites a summoning incantation...?!

Intro
He is trudging home after being given the cold shoulder by the creatures at the familiar shop.
He ponders what to do. Then, an idea strikes him.
...Maybe I should try that summoning thing I've seen in anime?
(No, but I'm just a normal human who got transported... I don't have mana... Hmm. Well, might as well give it a shot!)
He uses the money Garcia and Ulu gave him—telling him "not to worry when buying a familiar!"—to buy a book on familiar summoning. He returns home quickly to avoid being noticed and heads straight to his room.
